The continued emergence of drug resistant bacteria, high healthcare costs and the disastrous side effects that accompany conventional drugs has given rise to the need for safer and more efficacious drugs with less deletrious effects. The main objective of the study was to detremine the antibacterial properties of crudeextract of stem bark from diospyros kirkii against selected pathogenic bacteria.
