This book is a paper version of the documentary <West to the East>, which is a cultural documentary that mainly shows the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture. The whole film is divided into "The Power of Language" and "The Destiny of Culture" There are six episodes of Spring's Footsteps, Elephant's Invisible, Beautiful Differences, and the Call of the Future. Each episode is 50 minutes long. The whole documentary takes the development trend of modern human civilization as the background, takes the Confucius Institute as the main line, and traces the British culture. The founding process of language and culture promotion organizations in Western countries such as the Association of French Languages, the French Union of France, the Goethe Institute in Germany, and the Instituto Cervantes in Spain reveals the internal relationship between language and culture and the rise and fall of a country. The historical context of the Confucius Institute focuses on the magnificent leap-forward development process of the Confucius Institute from scratch, from small to large, in just over 10 years.
