Zambian health centres, both public and private provide health services in which facilities for treatment of sexually transmitted infections are treated. Implementation of reproductiv health care services by ministries of health is recommended by WHO. However, transmission and prevention of sexual transmitted infections services has remained a concern. The study aimed at determining the knowledge and attitude on transmission and prevention of STIs and risky sexual behviors among patients seeking health care services at selected centres in kasama and mprokoso.
