Obstetric complications are life threatening conditions that occur in pregnancies during labor and after delivery. The complications put the life of eithr the mother and or baby at risk. There has been an observation of an increase in maternal deaths in kabwe as a result of women seeking medical care too late when they suffer from obstetric complications. The aim of the study was to determine the knowledge and practice of women of child bearing age on obstetric complications.
