China perspectives is a multidisciplinary academic journal, published quarterly by the French Centre for Research on Contemporary China (CEFC) in Hong Kong. It focuses on current developments in China and the Chinese-speaking world, combining first-hand research with the theoretical perspective of social science. The journal was established in 1995, following the launch in 1992 of its French sister publication, Perspectives chinoises.
