Shoulder injuries are common in swimmers because of the sport. The forward propulsive power comes mainly from the upper extremities, and the highly repetitive motion that occurs in the normal swimming stroke can predispose the shoulder to injury. The objective of the study was to determine the factors contributing to swimming related shoulder pain among competitve swimmers at the olympic youth development centre.
