Femur fracture incidences from road traffic accidents according to WHO are at a rate of between 1.0 and 2.9 million per annum. These results demonstrated siginificant worldwide burden in femur fractures. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of skin and skeletal traction in management of femur fractures at UTH.
