Leprosy or hansen's disease (HD) is a chronic disease caused by the bacteria Mycrobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium lepromatosis that affects peripheral nerves and mucosa of the upper respiratory tract, which when left untreated, causes progressive permanent damage to the skin, nerves, limbs and eye. The aim of the study was to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and practices of clinical physiotherapy students at both UNZA and Evelyn Hone College.
