Down's syndrome is the commonest identifiable cause of intellectual disability, accountin for around 15-20% of the inntellectually disabled population. Physiotherapists are usualy among the first professionals parents of children with down's syndrome come into contact with. Down's syndrome child mangement requires multidisiciplinary team and as such the physiotherapist needs to have knowledge about the role of the special education teacher in the training of the child with down's syndrome.
