The physical changes that occur in women during pregnancy are many and can be overwhelming. Most evidence shows that there are many interventions that physiotherapy can use to reduce the discomforts during pregnancy. Physiotherapy personnel are knowledgeable on their roles in antenatal care and should therefore be participating to improve the physical stress and promote health among pregnanat women. The research looked at the perceptions of physiotherapy personnel towards their roles in antenatal care at the university teaching hospital physiotherapy department.
