<br/><br/> The study was aimed at determinig factors contributing to underutilisation of the partogram in kalomo district. A pilot study was carried out Namwianga clinic and the actual study was done at  health centres with more than one qualified staff at 2 hospitals in Kalomo district. The sample size was 50 and it consisted of both male and female midwives and nurses.
