Demographic factors in Government expenditures: An international comparison. - Geneva : International labour Office, 1976.

The purpose of this paper is to determine which items of government expenditure are directly influenced either by demographic variables or by economic aggregates measuring the level of development. At the same time the present study is aimed at testing to what extent population pressure diverts resources from productive to less directly productive investments or expenditures.
