International joint ventures in developing countries: Happy marriages?.
- Washington : World Bank, 1996.
Workshop Paper.
This paper considers corporate joint ventures between local companies and firms from industrial countries and examines root causes of problems arising in the negotiation, implemetation and operation of international joint ventures. The study concludes that managements often fail to recognise that joint ventures are dynamic relationships where the basis for intercorporate marriage can change considerably over time.
