Population growth and savings in developing countries: a survey.

This paper surveys the theoritical and emperical literature concerning the possible effects of population growth on the aggregate savings rate. The effects are examined from three perspectives, (1)macroeconomic effects of literature in the age structure of the population, (2) theoretic models of family decision maturing and 3) market level interaction of variables which determine industrial decisions.
