The population of older persons in developing countries, including Africa, is expanding and the number of older persons at risk of falls is increasing, and that falls are a major problem in the elderly because they cause significant morbidity and mortality due to complications arising from them. The aim of the study is to determine the prevalence of falls and their associated factors among the elderly persons living at Chawama and Matero homes for the aged.
