Head injury is recognized as a major public health problem that is a frequent cause of death and disability in young and old people and makes considerable demands on health services. Epidemiological data is required to initiate appropriate preventive measures and to plan necessary services. The main objective of the study was to determine the prevalence of head injury and its functional impact among patients at selected UTH wards.
