Hand hygiene is considered one of the most important infection control measures for preventing healthcare associated infections. However, compliance rates with recommended hand hygiene practices in hospitals remains low. The main objective of this study was to determine the hand hygiene knowledge, attitude and practice of health workers at Kabwe general hospital.
