The aim of this study was to determine the knowledge and attitude of mothers towards postnatal care in lusaka urban.The study was both qualitative and quantitative. The study was conducted in october 1999. Fifty respondents were randomly selected for interview schedule and ten participated in a focus group discussion making a total number of sixty respondents.
