The study was carried out in Kapata township in Chipata. The general objective of this study was to assess the factors influencing infant and child morbidity in chipata, kapata compound. The specific objectives were: to identify the most prevalent diseases in kapata that affect under five children; to determine whether the level of education of the mother plays a role in the health of a child and to find out which sex of the child is most affected.
