Countries in the developed world have made siginificant progress in improving the accessibilty of public transport systems by persons with disabilities on wheelchairs and adhere to standards that are generally uniform. Among developing countires the situation is much more diverse. The general objective of the study was to establish accessibility status of public transport for persons with disability using wheelchairs and public transport services at Lusaka Intercity Bus Terminus.
