Zambia has seen a reduction in HIV transmission rate from mother to child at 6 weeks, from 10 % in 2009 to 4 % in 2003 but transmission by breasfeeding remains elevated, at 15%. This study explored the utilisation of option B+ by HIV positive pregnant mothers in selected clinics of Lusaka district of Zambia.
