Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as a series of life saving actions that improve the chance of survival following cardiac arrest. In recent years, cardiopulmonary resuscitation has recieved worldwide acknowledgemet. In Zambia there is limted information on CPR and number of cases that are seen each year. The objectives of the study were to determine the level of knowledge amongst physiotherapy personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, to establish the practices amongst physiotherapy personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and to give reommendations to policy makers concerning CPR amongst physiotherapy personnel.
