Disabbility brings about functional, psychological and social challenges that can influence the quality of life of persons with disabilities. The major causes of disabilities include among others infections, road traffic accidents, war, domestic violence as well as cancer. Education of persons with disabilities should be an integral part of the educational system of every nation. According to CSO Zambia has 2.0% of its population being disabled and that literacy among them is at 58.6% compared to 70.4% for persons without disabilities. The aim of this research was to establish what effects disability has on education attainment levels of learners with disabilities.
