The management of TB epidemic in Zambia has been challenging due to lack of proper isolation facilities of sputum positive patients, poor contact tracing, scarcity of drugs, poor compliance to TB treatment, poorly managed TB programs and migration. The purpose of conducting this research was to determine the factors contributing to TB patients defaulting from anti TB treatment in Katete district of Zambia.
