The aim of the study was to determine knowledge and practice of midwives in diagnosis of postpartum depression. The sample of the study comprised of 213 (71 males and 142 females) midwives employed in the sampled health centres in lusaka, kapirimposhi, luwingu and mporokoso districts of Zambia.
