This study was done to determine the factors that affect the clients' choice of permanent method of contraception. Permanent method of contraception is a method of family planning that has not been publicised. A descriptive study was used to obtain data by interviewing people so as to get an accurate description of factors that affect the client's choice of permanent method of contraception. The study was conducted in two urban residential areas that is chilenje and mtendere and lastly at UTH in july 1998.
