The study was carried out in a rural area of lusaka west at Sopelo ZNS camp clinic located in kafue district, zambia. The general objective of the study was to assess the factors contributing to the prevalence of measles in children aged five and below. Specific objectives were to determine the socio demographic and economic factors that can contribute to measles outbreaks and identificationof the major reasons for failure of mothers' to have their children vaccinated against measles at Sopelo clinic.
