The report represent s results of a study undertaken to assess the factors that affect utilization of household chlorine in homes. A case study was conducted in kamanga community which is the catchment area of chelstone health centre in lusaka district of lusaka province. The main objective of the study was to assess the factors that affect the utilization of household chlorine for water treatment in the prevention and control of diarrhoeal diseases.
