Interdependence and patterns of development.
By: Comeliau, Christian.
Material type:
This study reflects on the relations between interdependence within the world economy on the one hand and the development patterns of national economies on the other. It suggests that the consequences of interdependence contain negative elements which have not been sufficiently emphasized in the past; it also shows that the impacts of external factors can only be understood if they are analysed within the context of their interactions with the internal social structure of the countries concerned.
