This report evaluates the relationship between Sri Lanka and the Bank over the last 30 years. The purpose of this review is to look at interractions between the Bank and the country concerned, and their instrumentation and results in a dynamic context over an extended period of time. The report addresses questions on how the interaction between the Bank and its borrowing country has fared when there were political changes, periods of stress, and shifting economic circumstances and priorities.
