The study was carried out in order to determine the knowledge, attitudes and practices of trained palliative caregivers who render palliative care to patients with HIV/AIDS at home lusaka urban. factors influencing the study were: socio-economic factors such as inadequate resources, age cultural beliefs, marital status and occupational status. A pilot study was conducted at Our Lady's hospice catchment area in kalingalinga and it consisted of 5 respondents. The main study site was Jon Hospice in Misisi compound.
