One mission deals with the state of fisheries and aquaculture research as well as research needs, in four countries in South eastern Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The report then provides a description of a successful fishery research institution in Mozambique and analyses the possible reason for its success.
