Institutional aspects of shifting cultivation in Africa.

It focusses on farmers who are using shifting agriculture as one of their techniques in the humid and semi humid zones of Africa. The study brings to light the interactions of several economic, social and institutional factors which help set up shifting cultivation as one of the major technique of food production in Africa.
