Summary: This vlume contains 30 papers and six abstracts summarising the potentials of forage legumes in famring systems of sub Saharan Africa and other parts of the world, Eighty papers and one abstract deals with nutrient and water constraints to legum growth. Twenty two papers and give abstracts revies the role of forage legums in proctudtion systems. Recommendations for future research are also presented.
