Summary: The objective of the present paper is to incorporate the employment implication of imperfection in the entrepreneur's knowledge into an analysis of on-the-job training and to throw some light on the firm's optimisation behaviour therein. The training considered here is itself based on certain unconventional but well founded assumptions.
