This is a paper which brings additional evidence to bear on the subject by examining a large number of wage agreements from Kenya, a country with a well developed system of trade unions and collective bargaining. A brief review on the existing literature is done in the subject and then it outlines and amends a very general model of trade union behaviour to fit the context of a LDC.
