The All Ireland Review was published in the early twentieth century and was founded and edited by Standish O'Grady. O'Grady was determined that the periodical would give a voice to a soft form of Irish nationalism that espoused "greater mutual tolerance for the achievement of greater national solidarity", as an article in the journal from 1900 described. In appearance, the publication more closely resembles the style and format of a newspaper.
